The main window is where you manage your macro list.
What You See
- A button bar across the top
- A macro list in the middle
- A status bar at the bottom
- A strip image at the top of the window
Macro List Columns
Trigger: the hot key, typed sequence, or other trigger textTrigger Type: how the macro startsDescription: your short name for the macroType: the macro typeDate: the saved date shown in the list

Main Buttons
Add: opens the create-macro wizardEdit: edits the selected macroDelete: removes the selected macroDisable: turns the selected macro on or offRun: runs the selected macro nowSchedule: opens the schedule choices for the selected macroActivate Hot Keys and Hide: hides the window, opens the hotkeys, and leaves the app in the tray
Status Bar
The status bar shows a simple count of how many macros are in the current file.
Tray Behavior
When EZ Macros is hidden to the tray, the tray icon tells you the current state.
Green light: hot keys are active and macros are readyRed light: the main window is restored and the tray state is not active for playback useYellow light: hot keys are open, but all macros are currently disabled
Tray Mouse Actions
- Left click restores the main window.
- Right click opens the tray menu.

First-Run Behavior
On a default setup, EZ Macros can show:
- an intro message
- a sample-macro prompt if the default file is loaded
These are normal setup-time prompts.
