EZ Macros uses a wizard-style flow for new macros.
Wizard Flow
- Choose the macro type.
- Choose the trigger.
- Fill in the type-specific page.
- Add a description.
- Optional: mark the macro as secure.

Use this when one hot key should open one or more programs, documents, or command lines.

Add a Description You Will Remember
The description is what you see in the macro list and in several picker dialogs. Keep it short and clear.

Default Macro Type
If you create the same kind of macro often, open File > Preferences > Macro Type and set the type you want EZ Macros to preselect.
